The CPD programme conducted by SLMA is not existent now. SLCH members interested in this programme must get registered directly in the NCPD programme conducted by the MOH.
The SLCH has been registered in the ministry of Health as a CPD provider. All the CME activities conducted by the SLCH will be accredited by a special committee under the supervision of DDG ET&R.
Please submit the relevant documents to ET&R unit by filling the relevant forms which are available in the Ministry of Health website (Please go to staff access and then to training section and you can find relevant appropriate forms and submission forms in the CPD section).
You can get registered in the programme either as a Mentee or a Mentor. (A mentor can get registered as a mentee too if you want to get the NCPD certificate).
The Mentee is a healthcare professional who follows a CPD programme and they should register one time in the ET&R Unit. The registration form is available in the Ministry of Health website (Link https://tinyurl.com/
The Mentor is a healthcare professional who guides the mentee in their professional career. Mentors should be registered at the ET&R Unit and the registration form is available in the Ministry of Health website. Once a mentor registered, ET&R Unit will screen the application and will inform the eligible registered person (Link https://tinyurl.com/
Once the mentee follows the accredited CPD programme, the healthcare professional should upload the CPD programme details with the certificate to show the evidence to the ET&R Unit. The form is available in the Ministry of Health website (Link https://tinyurl.com/
A healthcare professional who collects 50 CPD points will be awarded the NCPD certificate.
